Welcome to ANTIQUES & MOORE! This listing is for a lovely American glass cruet with silver plate top, c. The syrup has a nice all-over cut design with multiple patterns that cover the entire body with a large star on base and notch cut applied glass handle. The silver plate top has a beautifully engraved design on both the lid and collar and a cartouche engraved "Lona" on center top. The hinge is tight and the lid opens and closes correctly with thumb hold. Measures 6 5/8" high (at spout) with a 3 3/4" diameter base. This nice cut glass syrup is in very good Estate condition with no noted flaws reflecting only minimal signs of wear. There is a tiny nick at base of long vertical cutting left of handle, a very minor scratch in the same area on opposite side of handle, a very minor nick at base of handle and some minor nicks on edges of some of the cuttings that are consistent with normal use. The silver polishes beautifully with no noted flaws. Have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible. We are happy to answer any questions and always appreciate your business!
