This cake plate was made from 1880 to 1910 by the O'Hara Glass Co. It was originally called "O'Hara #99" and later became "Horseshoe Stem".It has a plain clear plate with a scalloped skirt around the top. The midsection has a pebbled upside down horseshoe resting on a clear tiered base. The cake stand is of a larger size than typical, measuring approximately 10 1/4 inches wide and 8 1/4 inches tall. It has a very small chip in the leg of one side of the horseshoe and on the base, these are barely noticeable but I want to point them out, please see last two photos, I highlighted them as they are hard to see. There are also multiple bubbles throughout the glass which was normal during the making process.
