Antique spooner glass made by Nickel Plate Glass. No major flaws that I can see except some marks & scratches indicative of typical use and age of piece. More info to be added soon. This spooner tumbler will be double boxed, cushioned well, insured, with tracking.
From my research, It appears that the Double Greek Key patten was made by the Nickel Plate Glass Company in 1892 & was never reproduced. The Double Greek Key pattern with overlapping rings/circles is quite beautiful! It is approximately 3-1/2 inches tall. The photo with the crayon rubbing on paper shows you the pattern/design better.
Other items in the photos are not included. The Fostoria Ohio Glass Association says that the Nickel Plate Glass Company was started in 1888 alongside the Nickel Plate Railroad on East Sandusky Street. They manufactured lamps, blown tumblers, tableware, & bar goods. The item "Tumbler/Pickle Castor Insert Double Greek Key Circle Nickel Plate Glass EAPG" is in sale since Wednesday, May 30, 2018.
