Offered from a great Wilmington Delaware estate is a set of. 4 rare signed Baccarat Art Deco French CALE (Wedges). Or Risers for Soup Bowls or Asparagus plates. These rippled wedge shape supports are simply to raise the angle of the diner's asparagus (or artichoke) plate. To keep it bathed in its juices while dining.

Drops by tilting the soup away from the diner. The French know how to dine...

Signed on the wide end with the circular logo, see photos, these special items are in wonderful antique condition. With no chips, cracks, flea bites or scratches and no stains or mars. For a special gift or cook, or for yourself, a rare indulgence. 2 3/4" long 1 3/4" wide tapering to 1. 3/4" high in back to less than 1/4" in front. The ridge on back of your plate rests on one of 6 or 7 sharp ridges on the rest.
