Antique BACCARAT DEPOSE France Crystal DIAMOND SWIRL Candy Dish Compote Plate
This listing is for an Old Vintage Baccarat French Art Glass "Diamond Swirl" Pattern 6" Covered Bowl / Compote / Candy Dish and 7" Underplate. The Plate is Signed with the "Baccarat France" Acid Stamp Logo on bottom (photo 6) and also has embossed "BACCARAT" and "DEPOSE" on front surface. The Compote is also signed inside the bowl with embossed "BACCARAT" and "DEPOSE" (photos 7 and 8). The top rim, pedestal foot, and plate edge are all Scalloped. Made of high quality crystal and have a wonderful ring when tapped. Overall in great vintage condition. Just a few small chips to side of lid finial (photo 11) and one small nick on top rim of bowl (photo 12). No other chips or issues that I can find. Plate looks perfect with no damage! All pieces are very clean and crystal clear in and out!
Please view photos carefully as they are my main description. It is thick and heavy glass with the 3 pieces weighing over 3 lbs together before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. UPS is usually the cheapest for big and heavy packages.
The Plate measures 7" (17.8 cm) across, 1 1/16" (2.7 cm) tall, and 4 3/16 (10.5 cm) at the base. The Compote is 6 3/16" (15.8 cm) tall to top of lid finial, 4" (10 cm) tall to rim, 5 1/2" (14 cm) wide across top rim, and 3 1/16" (9 cm) at the base or foot.
