1800's American Blown Flint Glass Celery Vase Swirled. For your consideration is a superb and rare large Celery Vase, all hand blown from clear flint glass. Raised on a circular base.

Thin-walled body design, characteristic tapered form and wide top. During the period, celery was quite expensive and considered a luxurious treat. Such vases were used in upscale American homes to present fresh celery, in cold water, for a mid-day snack or social gatherings.
