Antique Flint Glass Large Vegetable Platter, Rare EAPG, Lacy, Boston Sandwich
This is for the antique flint glass vegetable platter shown above. Condition is Very Good with minor tipping to the scallops and no major distractions - much better than average for this piece.
This is one of the few vegetable platters made by Boston Sandwich glass. Prominent design features are princess feather medallions, scrolls, and baskets or flowers (one basket in each corner). The same piece also serves as the base to a covered vegetable dish also manufactured by Boston Sandwich during the same period.
The size is 10 1/2" long, 8 3/4" wide, and 1 3/4 high.
