APOLLO BELVEDERE Cameo Sulphide Baccarat Glass Medallion. PLEASE NOTE: Artificial lighting/angles used during photography to show detail may make colors appear lighter. Colors are as noted unless otherwise described. Spots and streaks are reflection from light sources unless noted. Oval glass medallion with rayed/wreath surround and diamond cut back(ground).

Gilt metal cap with ring for hanging. Part of a long time collection of Sulphides. Measures: 4 1/4" long including bale by 3 1/2" wide Marked: no marks found (most probably by Baccarat) Condition: Very Good (corrosion on the rivet that holds the cap in place and on the ring that holds the bale in place, glass is in nice shape with only the expected light wear/lines from age, back of glass behind sulphide has some chips or an area where the diamond cut pattern is worn/chipped down as if it had a pontil, you can see a bit of it showing through just underneath and around his chin).
