They are thin clear crystal with a heavy stepped somewhat rounded square footprint. The glass continues to the top with bowed out sides in a quasi square shape.

This pattern is difficult to describe but quite lovely to behold. I'm not even sure the pictures do them justice! When held the crystal highball has a sturdy feel, weighing in at 1 lb 2 oz each. These are still in their original boxes although the two boxes are different from one other.

One is a white cardboard box that when loaded with the six glasses has divisions between each glass. The glasses stand on their ends.

The box has blemishes from age and has blue tape that is marked with the logo for Cristal de Sevres France. There is also a label on one end that is stamped 123781 BO 6 CH ERIC N.

The box is sturdy and safely holds the six beautiful glasses within. The other box is a flat more formal presentation style box that holds the six glasses within so they lay on their sides with divisions between the glasses. This box is dark blue in color with a silver Cristal de Sevres France logo embossed in silver on the lid. The end of the box has a label that is stamped 123773 6 CH ERIC 37/38cls. The glasses in the two boxes are identical to one another.

Each is etched on the bottom, Cristal Sevres France. Included in each box is a brochure that that states.
