Exceptional French ART DECO frosted glass Plafonnier by the renowned Sabino of Paris, ca 1925. The circular ceiling light display made of molded frosted glass with blown out floral band and basket weave, fully signed to rim with the molded factory marks "SABINO 4330 PARIS DEPOSE - BIS". Excellent condition for this huge piece. An absolute most for collectors! Sabino experimented with glass and by 1925 he had created his own chemical formula for opalescent glass.

The result is that in low light the glass often appears white or bluish like ice in a glacier, but with brighter or more direct light, many of the pieces turn a subtle golden color. We try to present the merchandise as accurately as possible.
