French Art Nouveau Engraved Crystal Jardiniere, Gilt Bronze Ormolu, c. 1890

  
This listing is for a lovely small antique French Art Nouveau engraved crystal jardiniere with gilt bronze mounts, c. The crystal insert has a deeply scalloped upper edge and is engraved with a garland wreath on a ribbon on both the front and back.

The gilt bronze stand is decorated with a floral spray at each end and has a pierced decorated base with a pierced band above. Measures 3 1/4" high, 5 1/2" long and 3 1/2 wide.

This nice jardiniere is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. The gilt bronze finish is bright and free of damage.

The top edge of the glass jardiniere was original gilded and there is wear in this area otherwise we found nothing wrong with this lovely piece.
