Cake Plate or Serving Tray. Motifs: Cut Roses and Hobstars. Ruby Red Cased Crystal Cut Clear. Measurements: 11 3/8" rim diameter and 1 1/4" high at the rim.

Weight, prepackaged: 3 lbs 10.7 oz. The plate is free of chips, cracks and fleabites including the exterior cuts and inner rim. There are no marks from use or storage.

The base has slight shelf wear on the highest points as expected. The piece is hand-cut with some variances as expect. The glass is crystal clear with no cloudiness. There is a trapped air bubble near a leaf cut which is not distracting, but worth mentioning.

The original label is still attached and in excellent condition with minimal wear. The plate has a layer of deep ruby red over crystal which is cut through. The red plated layer can easily be seen on the edges of the cuts. The label reads "Lead Crystal, 24% lead oxide, hand-cut, Lausitzer GLAS, Made in German Democratic Republic". It's a wonderfully cut piece and certain to be a high point in any collection and on display.
