A detailed heavy fleur de lis handle centers the very big 14 inch diameter hand made platter of the clearest crystal. This is truly one of Steuben's largest and most beautiful serving pieces. This vintage piece is in new condition with no chips, no cracks, no scuffs or nicks and NO SCRATCHES on the base bottom. This generous platter meaures approx 4" tall and 14" in diameter with the weight approx.

And hallmark clarity of Steuben. A very fair price for a very large and beautiful vintage hand made new condition early Steuben design. Steuben Glass was the premier American glass company founded by Frederick Carder in 1903. It ranked as the world's foremost artisan glass house. Steuben glass was handmade by American craftsmen at the works in Corning NY. Steuben glass was frequently the United States' gift of State to foreign dignitaries. Steuben marketed no "seconds, " items that did not meet their exacting standards were destroyed by being smashed in a bin. Steuben, a recognized luxury brand and the ultimate in art glass.
