RARE Vintage WATERFORD CRYSTAL Cut Glass Silver Plate Footed Claret Decanter 13

  
This listing is for a Rare Vintage Waterford Irish Crystal Cut Glass Large 13.25 (33.5 cm) Tall Pedestal Footed Claret Wine Decanter. It is Signed with the Older "Waterford" Acid Stamp on side of Foot (photo 5). It has a Silver Plated Handle and Spout which is Signed "WATERFORD" on the side (photo 6).

I have not found another Claret Decanter with this Silver mounting. Also, I cannot find the pattern name. It has Open Diamonds like Comeragh etc, but there is a band of 8 Point Stars around the middle (photo 7). Any info would be appreciated!

Fluted cut stem and neck. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. All rims, edges, and stopper look perfect! Clean inside with just a little minor residue at the very bottom, noted for accuracy (photo 12). No other issues that I can find. The silverplate is shiny and polished with some usual tarnish in the deep areas. Please view photos carefully as they are my main description.

It is big and heavy weighing over 3.5 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. It measures 13 3/16" (33.5 cm) tall to top of stopper, 10 7/8" tall to spout, 5" handle to spout, 4 7/8" at widest part of body, and 3 7/8 at the base or foot. The Stopper itself is 4 1/2 long.
