They can also be used for a small dessert. These crystal plates are handmade, each one is slightly different. They feature 48 facet cuts on the bottom, creating a beautiful optical design. They are handblown and, I would imagine, hand cut. Only other remotely close design I could find on the Internet was in Holland. They are 6 1/2 inches in diameter and stand off of the surface about a half an inch. This is for a set of 12.
