Steuben Crystal Lloyd Atkins #8045 Canape Plate (Snail Plate). This plate exemplifies the simple classic design for which Steuben is known.

The plate is signed in script on the center bottom. I tried with just a little success to get a photo to show the signature. You can make out at least part of signature in the close-up photos. The plate was designed by noted designer, Lloyd Atkins in 1953.
