U S Coin Glass 1892 Pedestal Cake Stand
This is a rare cake plate to find in this condition. I've had others but nearly as pristine as this one. Central Glass in Wheeling, WV produced this and other items in 1892. After less than five months, the government forced the company to cease production under laws prohibiting conterfeiting. The coin pattern is show in Minnie Watson Kamm's book #3 on page 80.
