In 1935 Verlys began production of pieces produced in exotic Newark, OH using the original French molds. These were all signed with diamond etching...
Production slowed in 1940, ending all together in about 1951. In later years, these French molds were leased by companies like Heise and Fenton... But, those pieces were never signed. I've really enjoyed doing research on this gorgeous piece of art!!! Now, this gorgeous gem hasn't escaped it's long history without some evidence of it's journey.
Look to their photographs to find they are chipped at someplace around the rim. Has no chips or cracks at all. But, there are some very delicate scratches that you might be able to make out in one of the photos I've provided. But, you can be certain...
They are very difficult to see unless you are desperate to find these minute flaws. This is just an amazing piece of beauty. Thanks so much for stopping by!
